As I said in the last post, my guess for Zoe's surgery date, of Friday, was just a guess. And guess what? I was wrong. We were awoken at 6:30 this morning with a call that they may perform the
Norwood surgery today! We were surprised, to say the least, but not at all uncomfortable as we are in the best place in the world for Zoe to have this surgery.
The surgery is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m., eastern time. We will do out best to post updates, as we receive them.
Please continue to send positive thoughts.

Ah yes...the wired baby. It is something to get used to holding a baby with wires (not that they always have THAT many wires on them, thank goodness). When Gwen was "wired" I used to joke that I could hook her up to the Internet.

So, she is having her surgery done today? That means she can recover and be home even sooner..after all that is why she is there, right? Surgery...then recover under the best nurses care and doctors watch and then, GO HOME :)! She's in my thoughts and prayers.
