As the Pitocin dosage increases, so do the contractions. The contractions are definitely increasing in frequency and strength. The good news, however, is Stacey already received the epidural so she isn't really feeling the contractions - which she is grateful for!
To help speed up the process, they also manually broke the water or performed an amniotomy, as they refer to it in the scientific world.
The current estimate is Zoe will rear her precious head in about 3-4 hours, so we are definitely getting closer. The nurse and midwife say that all of Zoe's vitals are perfect and she looks great, other than that pesky heart defect.
