Far Too Long

I know a blog post is long overdue.  The Lihns are well.  Very well.

I promise to post some photos from the girls' birthday party from a few weekends ago.  We're all just very busy with work and play and enjoying life.

As we grow anxious over the Supreme Court decision due out soon (likely next week) regarding the status of the Affordable Care Act, I was pleasantly surprised to see this campaign ad come out today.  I am so proud that we've played a role in getting the word out and campaigning for Obama's re-election.  His presidency has greatly affected our family and I can't imagine him not leading us for the next four years.

  3. Your story was indeed moving. Which makes it all the more troubling that you allowed yourself to be used by the DNC - you unwittingly used your child as a human shield and ideological hostage for the white Liberal Left. Not your fault, ma'aam. The Democrats have mastered this tactic.

  4. Jack Blair- you sound heartless. It was a touching speech and a reality this mom struggles with every day. Her speech was courageous and authentic. Her concerns and fears are deeply legitimate, and she is no doubt alone. Grow some compassion sir. In many countries, health care is a basic human right, and to fight for it is not a political ploy.

  5. Jack, take a look at the developed world around you. Before the ACA, the U.S. was the only country in the OECD that would have let a kid die because it cost too much to save them. Its sad when ideology trumps compassion and common sense.

  7. Very interesting and informative article. This week I was looking to setup a new website with affiliate links and this post has given me pause for further thought.
