The Zoo

After a restless night (yes, we're still in teething mode), Emerson visited the Phoenix Zoo for the first of many trips to come. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for zoo membership! Since we slept in late, we got to the zoo with a little over an hour until closing. We had fun and the weather was absolutely perfect!

Very Merry Christmas, Not So Happy New Year

We celebrated our first Christmas with Emerson and weren't sure she'd really enjoy it at 7 months old. Boy, were we wrong! Emmy loved Christmas. She loves new clothes, toys and all things shiny.




Aunt Stephie and Uncle Peej came back to visit. Steph and I lived up the old days Christmas morning while Emmy slept in Grandma's arms.




A well-rested Emmy played with her toys, until Elmo punched her in the face. How traumatic! It only took a few minutes before all was well with the world again.




Until New Year's Eve. Emerson decided she wanted to start teething for the New Year. Oy Vey! She worked and worked at it, but still no teeth. Hopefully they'll come soon, before mommy and daddy are completely sleep deprived!
